With over 130 destinations and 20 airport bases Vueling is one of the largest low-cost airlines in Europe. To expand beyond its home country of Spain, the high-flyer took us on board for the planned kick-off campaign.

Ready for take-off?
How do you ensure the brand awareness and reputation of an expanding airline improves significantly, but sustainably? The answer: do something great and talk about it – in other words: convinced opinion leaders are needed. We develop the positioning “New Generation Airline” for the young target group and centre our holistic communications activities on this.
Brand ambassadors wanted!
Online casting is initiated with a campaign website, Facebook and out-of-home tools. For ten cities in Germany we sought ten brand ambassadors, who love to fly as much as they love their city – and in return each would receive 100 free flights to Vueling destinations.
Public Link staged the kick-off of the marketing campaign with integrated PR and Social Media activities – including trade media relations, blogger cooperations, individual press meetings and photo opportunities with the Vueling ambassadors and the complete Facebook community management.
Touch down announcement: After a successful start of the campaign it will also be implemented in Italy and Belgium.
