Positive energy? No problem with CLIF.
The Californian energy bar manufacturer CLIF has been supporting the active lifestyle of top and everyday athletes for more than 25 years. An essential part of CLIF’s philosophy is to do good in the world and provide customers, employees and the environment with positive energy. In order to carry the brand’s dynamic commitment beyond the US, a Europe-wide campaign is being developed, which will not only increase awareness but also focus on the brand’s happiness factor.

A pop-up to fight the winter blues
Public Link developed a comprehensive event concept for the German market that strategically combines the goals of the client with the needs of the consumer. So in dreary January, we opened the world’s first CLIF bar in Berlin – a special pop-up that stimulates the happiness hormones of its visitors. Our promise: Within one hour we will wake the happiness hormones of our guests from hibernation. In addition to special mocktails in typical CLIF flavours and light sporting activities on our specifically installed spinning bikes, we put a stop to the grey Berlin winter thanks to the excellent company and good mood of our guests. For every visitor attending the “Happy Hour”, CLIF also donated to the Berlin-based dare Foundation, an organisation that supports traumatised children and young people, for example by providing them with their own bicycles and accompanying workshops.
Happy Hour at the CLIF Bar has a local and a digital impact
After the starting signal, we accompany CLIF in the implementation of the event concept every step of the way and ensure a smooth handover of the baton between project management, guest relations and communication around the event. On site, we welcomed over 300 guests to the first Happy Hour of the new decade in Berlin, including a number of influencers, media representatives and prominent faces such as Culcha Candela frontman Mateo Jasik, Xenia Princess of Saxony, entertainer and ex-GNTM judge Rolf Schneider and actress and presenter Annabelle Mandeng. Thanks to extensive reporting, online partnerships and influencer collaborations, we reached the finish line in record time.
