Ice Cream in Space

Kommt vom Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Ready to eat, no refrigeration needed.

Astronauten Eis

Astronauten Eis

Whatever in the world does an astronaut need as he hangs there, weightless in orbit? Let me think a moment… why, ice cream, of course! That’s really hard to get, so many miles above the surface of the planet (no local ice cream parlor), so a solution is needed. To the rescue comes Kennedy Space Center in Florida with “Ready to eat, no refrigeration needed.” Tear open the bag and the ice cream freezes itself. And if this hot weather keeps up, that may come in useful. (Thanks Ingo, for a literally out of this world souvenir!)
